Cajun Honey Butter Salmon is the perfect mix of sweet and savory, featuring seared Cajun-seasoned salmon topped with a simple honey garlic butter sauce. This delicious main dish can be made in just 15 minutes using a single skillet. Pair it with fried rice for a complete meal!

Ingredients:
– 4 salmon fillets, salted and seasoned to taste
– 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 1/3 cup honey
– **Cajun Seasoning:**
– 2 tablespoons garlic powder
– 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
– 2 teaspoons paprika (smoked paprika, if available)
– 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper (or 1/2 teaspoon finely ground black pepper)
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Instructions:
1. **Prepare the Cajun Seasoning:**
In a bowl, mix together all the Cajun seasoning ingredients.

2. **Make the Cajun Honey Butter:**
Using an electric hand mixer, beat the butter for about 2 minutes until light and fluffy. Add the honey and 1 tablespoon of the Cajun seasoning, then blend until smooth. Store any leftover Cajun seasoning in an airtight container for up to 3 months.

3. **Prep the Salmon:**
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel, and rub them with a bit of oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. **Cook the Salmon:**
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the salmon fillets for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until opaque and crusty.

5. **Add the Cajun Honey Butter:**
After turning off the grill (or stove if using a grill pan), generously spread the Cajun Honey Butter over each salmon fillet. Let the butter melt for about 30 seconds, then use the back of a spoon to spread it evenly over the salmon. Flip the fillets and repeat on the other side.
