Ingredients
– 1 (14-ounce) package of Golden Oreos, crushed in a food processor
– ⅓ cup salted butter, melted
– 1 tablespoon butter for preparing the pan
– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
– ¾ cup white sugar
– 16 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
– 2 small boxes of cheesecake-flavored instant pudding mix
– 3 cups whole milk
– 2 large cans of cherry pie filling
– 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

How to Make Cherry Cheesecake Lush
1. **Prepare the Pan:**
Butter the inside of a 9×13 baking dish and set aside.

2. **Make the Cookie Crust:**
Crush the Golden Oreos in a food processor until they form small crumbs. Add the melted butter and pulse until fully combined. Press the cookie mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Place the crust in the freezer for 10 minutes.

3. **Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer:**
In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, and 1 cup of whipped topping until smooth. Spread this mixture over the chilled cookie crust and return to the freezer for another 10 minutes.

4. **Make the Pudding Layer:**
In a separate bowl, whisk together the pudding mix, milk, and ½ cup of whipped topping until it begins to thicken. Spread this pudding mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the pudding is set.

5. **Add the Cherry Layer:**
After the pudding is set, carefully spoon the cherry pie filling over the pudding layer, ensuring the layers don’t mix.

6. **Top with Whipped Topping and Nuts:**
Gently spread the remaining whipped topping over the cherry layer. Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts on top. Chill the dessert for 1 to 2 hours before serving.

Enjoy!
