Ingredients:
- 150 grams of yogurt
- 120 grams of sugar
- 380 grams of flour
- 8 grams of baking powder
- 120 milliliters of vegetable oil
- Vanilla essence or vanillin
- 200 grams of semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 tablespoons of almonds
Preparation:
Making the Dough
- In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla essence until creamy and smooth.
- Add the flour and baking powder, mixing thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
Shaping the Cookies
- Once the dough is ready, shape it into small balls using your hands, then gently flatten them to form cookies of your desired size.
- Use cookie cutters if you want to create fun shapes.
Baking
- Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Once baked, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
Making the Chocolate Coating
- While the cookies cool, prepare the chocolate icing by melting the semi-sweet chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave-safe bowl. Once melted, stir in the chopped almonds until fully coated.
Coating the Cookies
- Dip each cookie into the chocolate mixture, ensuring they are completely covered.
- Let any excess chocolate drip off, then place the cookies on parchment paper to set.
Setting the Chocolate
- Allow the cookies to rest at room temperature until the chocolate hardens completely. Though it might take some time, the delicious result will be worth the wait!
